In this role you will
- Be part of the iCMC-Digital Transformation program/ Data Governance & Integration team, supporting the program in all data related topics, reporting to iCMC Technical Lead
- Support the iCMC Harmonized Data Model development, deployment, maintenance and support. This Data Model is a central piece of the overall iCMC program architecture allowing for the storage of data in a data lake and the centralized & harmonized data management in order to meet FAIR data principles.
- Be a key player in iCMC Data Governance & Integration team in order to increase robustness of overall architecture by applying automation and DevSecOps and DataOps principles aligned with Sanofi standards.
- Implement new data pipelines to evolve the HDM and meet future business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create data mapping for LIMS and ELN templates released by program factory teams.
- Support CMC Harmonized Data Model (HDM) Data consumers (Advanced Analytics tools, Data Sciences Workbench, Dataiku, etc)
- Support HDM development, deployment, and maintenance & support
- Define test strategy, test cases, Develop test scripts, Execute tests
- Automate execution of tests to improve efficiency
- Complete documentation
- Review process for optimizations to speed up the end-to-end process
- Enrich harmonized attributes
- Analyze and correct HDM issues
- Create onboarding material / “Compass” for new HDM customers
- Contribute to Workbook API redesign
- Define and implement calculations in HDM for ULM and workbook data
- Drive simplification of HDM model
- Develop & implement new features to increase robustness of the CMC HDM product
- Support master/reference data and data stewardship processes
- Support evolution of HDM architecture such as migration to Snowflake
About you
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of Data engineering and design experience with large scale business applications in a fast-paced iterative development environment.
- Good knowledge of Lean & Agile practices
- Experience in working in an AWS ecosystem
- Experience in Data Engineering & Data Integration (ETL, API, …)
- Experience in bash scripting, Python and SQL
- Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices & tooling (GitLab/GitHub, Terraform, …).
- Experience in Snowflake and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS) iPass Platform is a plus
- Knowledge in GxP computerized systems would be a plus
- Proactivity, autonomy, openness, and responsiveness to feedback
