Project Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities:

Perform review of customer project enquiry and develop strategy to produce complete Fisher solution proposal.
Perform proposal kick-off conference call or face to face meeting with Fisher Sales Channel and BU stakeholders to agree on developed proposal strategy.
Communicate with customer on progress of the proposal production.
Communicate with customer issues which need clarification to complete proposal.
Obtain commitment and support from various parts of internal organization to provide input, capacity, knowledge or approvals to complete the Fisher solution proposal.
Produce wherever applicable elements of the Fisher solution proposal. This can include detailed specification review, engineering, pricing, commercial or technical chapters.
On time response to customer clarification requests.
Prepare complete package for order entry into business systems for order execution.
Complete revisions indicated by sales/customer at quote stage
Receive and process change order requests via the change order process
Quote follow up
Manage customer complaints
Looking for continues improvement opportunities
Work systematically and professionally in a well-documented manner in accordance with the company rules and procedures including adherence to trade compliance (export / import and supply chain security) regulations entirely.

The ideal candidate:

Has BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or similar)
Previous control valve engineering knowledge and experience is advantage
Fluent in English, plus speaks another language, either German, French or Italian
Good computer skills
Strong communication skills and business acumen
Strong team player & self-starter attitude
Action Oriented, enjoys development activities
Able to manage complexity
