Payroll Trainee
What you will learn and contribute to
As Payroll Trainee you will be managing day-to-day operations within the human resource shared services center of CPO People Experience (PE) Payroll.
People Experience is responsible for employment lifecycle related activities within HR (CPO) such as employment, HR data maintenance and payroll support. Our European team is responsible for more than 40 countries across Europe.
Within PE Payroll area you will take part in the monthly payroll activities by supporting related data collection, maintenance, and administration processes. You will be valued member of a collaborative team and will carry out activities in the following areas:
- Providing professional payroll services in different countries Europe-wide to secure timely and accurate salary payment
- Supporting the administrative management of payroll files
- Managing workflow to ensure that all payroll transactions are processed in a timely and accurate way.
- Maintaining data in the payroll software
- Creating and controlling payroll reports
- Customer centric support provision in payroll queries
- General document archiving/digitalization
- Supporting payroll related audits and authority inspections
- Participating in special projects
Your skills and experience
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic team player with a high level of motivation, self-organization and a result- and quality-oriented approach to work
- Good written and oral communication in English and in German is for being comfortable working in a multicultural environment
