Network/Telecom Engineer - EMEA
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with management in applying the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.
- Support asset management team in the tracking, auditing and reporting of Network Devices and data circuits.
- Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activities.
- Work with purchasing to manage process and resolve purchasing issues.
- Participate in contract discussions, contract renewals and vendor management activities.
- Analyze telecom invoices inclusive of tracking, reviewing, auditing, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.
- Provide constant feedback on savings opportunities and methodologies in Telecom Management
- Establish and maintain 100% telecom inventory integrity.
- Participate in preparing asset capital and expense budgets.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Understanding of invoice, allocation, organizational hierarchy in relation to accounting practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage outside vendors and contractors for service delivery; able to ensure work is delivered on time, to standard and within budget.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks (voice, data, mobile, unified communications.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management.
- Work effectively with a diverse technical and business staff outside of their own organization to achieve goals.
- Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize innovative methods and solutions.
- Proven analytical skills and systemic problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology management or other technical field is desired, though direct and applicable professional experience in relevant processes, technologies, tools, and techniques will be considered for substitution
- Experience with technical, asset management, or inventory experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment.
